 Subscriptions cover the cost of customer support and updates for the term of the subscription purchased. Joomlacache will assist with issues related to the extension, including CSS, layout, browser compatibility, or styling needed to integrate into the look and feel of you template and/or website. We will fix any errors or bugs directly related to our extensions (but not for unrelated or pre-existing issues on your site or server/host).
What is a subscription?
Commercial extensions come with support subscription. Your support subscription includes:
- Forum access for the thread that relates to your purchased extentions
- Support ticket system access
- Unlimited updates and downloads of your purchased extension for the duration of the term of your subscription
Subscriptions are for a 3, 6 or 12 month terms and where as the subscriptions automatically expire, YOUR EXTENSIONS DO NOT, and will continue to work.
Do the extensions cease to function when the subscription ends?
No, they do not explode when the term of your subscription ends. The extensions are yours to keep and never lock or expire, this IS NOT leaseware! You own and can use your extension forever, and ever, and ever!
What if I do not renew my subscription?
Updates and support is only available during the term of your subscription.
How do I get help?
The ONLY way to get support is through the ticket system. Our support team will need admin, FTP and cPanel credentials to assist you. These credentials are required for support. Note: Providing login credentials to your site to Joomlacache support staff is completely voluntary and by doing so you release Joomlacache and its agents from any direct or indirect damage to your site. You are strongly encouraged to make regular back-ups of your site at all times, but especially when trying to resolve a problem with any Joomla extension. Backups of your site are your responsibility. We recommend Joomlapack now called Akeeba. DOUBLE NOTE: If you do not give us site access, we may not be able to fix the issues. Site access is required for support.
Forum support is by the community only. Access to the support ticket system is only after a subscription has been purchased. Support subscriptions are on a per extension basis.
Can i download a commercial extension for free without support?
No, the fee for the subscription also covers the cost of updates and modifications to the existing extensions, as well as the cost of development of new extensions.
Can i get a refund?
Refund policy: Since Joomlacache is offering non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds after the subscription is made, which you are responsible for understanding upon registering at our site.
Can you customize your extension for my site?
Yes, for a fee will customize all of our extension offerings. For instance, the Add Orders Module can be modified for additional credit card processors by quoter.
We built each of our components for our internal use based on our clients and our specifications. After many requests, we prepared releases of each component to the public! Our components are sold AS IS. Any features and functionality that are not currently part of these components that you need can be developed for an extra fee or as these are all open source, you can use the components as a basis to build your version on.
Often our customers come back to us and want features and functionality added that is not currently built into the components. Although we did our best, and we are constantly developing our components, there is no way to foresee what everyone of you want, need, or expect. A function that you want is not an omission or a bug. The components work AS IS based on the original specs. Refunds are not given because you want a feature or function that is not included, and we do not do further development specifically to meet your specs for free, as we need to pay staff also.
We use all of these extensions on our own sites and our clients sites, so we find bugs before any of you do, but, if you find bugs (and a bug is not a feature or function that you want but is not available), please let us know about them as we are constantly working on improving our components for their next releases.
